Although I haven’t seen you in years, I’ve always loved you! Loved your style and hair flair you gave to me and my kids years ago, loved that you allowed me to stay in your home for stay overs with JoLynn when you had such a houseful alteady. Always a giving spirit, opinionated, creative and God loving soul. I’ll never forget you! Prayers for you while God’s loving arms wrap you in angelic health. Prayers for JoLynn and the entire family in these difficult times. RIP JoAnn

JoAnn gave me my Farrah haircut when I was a teen – I so loved her cutting my hair. I have never been able to find someone to do it the way she used to …………

    RIP. – ❤️❤️❤️

    1. Jennifer, thank you. Though she could “do it all” in a beauty shop, cutting was JoAnn’s favorite part of the job!

  6. I have been trying to come up with the right words, to express how deeply sorry I am to have learned of JoAnn’s passing. She was a very lovely and kind person. She always had a smile on her face. I will miss seeing her with you Dad (David), when you come into Jim Dandy for a Tuesday evening meal. If I was there, she was sure to look for me, and always snuck up from behind, and give me a peck on the top of my head and then her lipstick imprint would be there. 🙂 I know that she is at peace and can rest now from her health issues. Please know that you, and all of the family on both sides, will be in my thoughts and prayers in the days and months ahead. All my love to you Dad, and the family. R,I.P. JoAnn

Joann was one of my big sisters. I was the baby of the family so I was spoiled by my older siblings. I will deeply miss Joann she was very talented & could sing, an excellent & proficient seamstress and an accomplished hairdresser. Among many other attributes She was never shy & was able to get up in front of a room full of people & sing or tell a funny story with. Complete confidence. I always loved an admired her for her ability to meet & make friends with anyone.
My deepest condolences to our family & loved ones. You will be truly missed

    1. Dear Patricia and Dennis, JoAnn’s heart was filled with love for her family, and as her “little sister” she was extremely fond of you, Pat. JoAnn’s brothers and sisters were the topics of many conversations over the years. She so longed during the last year to visit you again, but that was not to be. She had such a good time when she was there five years ago.

  9. Sending our love and prayers! Wishing we could be with you at this time. God bless you and the family as you grieve the loss of JoAnn.
