James A. “Jim” Tishner, 77 of Tipton died at his residence on October 2, 2019. He was born in Tipton on May 20, 1942 to George William and Eva Mae (Day) Tishner.
Jim had worked in construction for Davis Homes. He enjoyed and participated in the Tecumseh Lodge Pow Wow held at the 4-H grounds. He served in the Army from March 1961 through July 1962.
Jim is survived by his sister, Peggy Tishner of Tipton; a sister-in-law, Adrienne Tishner of Goldsmith and several nieces and nephews.
Private family graveside services will be conducted at Fairview Cemetery in Tipton.
Young-Nichols Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
