Jessica S. Wise, 41 of rural Tipton County died on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at her residence.  She was born on August 6, 1976 in Kokomo to Myron E. “Mad Dog” & Sherl K. (Stafford) Wise.

Jessica was employed as a government data entry specialist.  She attended school at Tri-Central and graduated from Tipton High School in 1994.  Jessica also went to college at Ivy Tech.  She enjoyed gardening, exercise, puzzles, DIY projects, and yard work.  Jessica was a movie buff, book collector, and loved spending time and doing things for family and close friends.

She is survived by a sister, Tracy Kelley, Kokomo; her adopted sister, Christi Leggett, Windfall; paternal grandmother, Martha E. Wise; uncle Ricki Wise; aunt & uncle Debbie & Jim Nelson; nephews and nieces, Brett Kelley, A.J. Kelley, Kelsey Kelley, and Dakota Kelley; great nephews and nieces, Kayden Swank, Carter Kelley,  Kyrin Arthur, Sophie Arthur, and Hayden Arthur.  She is also survived by her second family, the Leggetts and Michael Schinlaub.

Jessica’s funeral will be at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, at Young-Nichols Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until time of the service.

  2. Thoughts and prayers for the family that God gives you strength during this harsh time. I worked with Jessica and thought she was a very sweet person. She will be missed dearly.

  3. Praying for the family. Jessica is missed by the entire team at work. She was such a sweet person. I had the privilege of being her supervisor for the majority of the time she worked for FSSA. She will be forever in our hearts.
