Kenneth L. Wolverton
Kenneth L. Wolverton, 63 of Tipton died at 3:40 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at his residence. He was born on July 4, 1953 in Tipton to John & Betty (Herron) Wolverton.
Kenneth retired from Chrysler Corporation in 2002. He was an Associate Pastor of Vineyard Assemblies of God in Tipton and a retiree member of U.A.W. Local 685 in Kokomo. God was his hobby.
Kenneth is survived by three daughters, Marla Robbins, Molena, Georgia, Lori Wainwright and husband Ross, Thomaston, Georgia, Elizabeth Lovell and husband Jim, Windfall; a son, Jochua Wolverton, Tipton; three sisters, Carol Wolverton, Tipton, Mary Garmon, Tipton, Lisa Achenbach and husband Tom, Hobbs; 10 grandchildren, Lance and Micah Robbins, Hope, Courtney, and Hannah Wainwright, Noah Green, Olivia Wolverton, Jonah Barker, Justin and Mackenzie Lovell. He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Sonny Garmon.
Funeral services for Kenneth will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 17 at Vineyard Assemblies of God, 227 E. North Street, Tipton, Indiana with Pastor Joe Brock presiding. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Tipton. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday at Young-Nichols Funeral Home and from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Vineyard Assemblies of God in Tipton.
