Leonard F. “Lennie” Webb, Jr. 76 of Kokomo died Sunday, December 23, 2018 at his home.  He was born on July 29, 1942 in Peru, Indiana to Leonard F. and Zella A. (Brandshaw) Webb.  He married Tari C. Webb.  The couple was married for 31 years, from 1977 to present, once removed.  He was previously married to Carol Joe Bruner and she died in 2005.

Lennie retired from Delphi Electronics in 2005, hiring into Delco Radio a week after graduating high school in 1960.  He was an avid IU Basketball and Football fan.  Lennie also loved to watch Drag Racing.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in New London.  Lennie loved his dogs, Shotzy, Gracie, and Gus.

Lennie is survived by his wife, Tari; three daughters, Terisa Kay Sharp and husband Allen, Oakford, Catherine Porter and husband Mike, Macon, Georgia, Brandie Copeland and husband Rob, Macon, Georgia; five grandchildren, Samantha Copeland and Charles Hutchison, AJ Sharp and wife Alli, Michael Copeland, Devon Sharp and Mackenzi Brewer, Tori Copeland; five great-grandchildren, Brilen Copeland, Amethyst Cage, Allen William Sharp, Abigale Sharp, Jaida Hutchison, and one in the oven!

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 28 at Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church, 1300 E Barkdol Street, Kokomo with Bill Orr presiding.  Visitation is Friday at the church from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.  Young-Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family would like to thank Great Lakes Hospice for their outstanding care of Lennie, especially Katherine, Randall, Jasmine, and Teri.

Memorials contributions in Lennie’s honor may be made to Great Lakes Hospice, 2751 Albright Road, Kokomo, Indiana 46902.

  1. I first met Lennie while working at Soupleys with Terisa. From the get go i knew he was a very funny individual and very warm hearted. He will be truly missed. RIP

    I am a first cousin to Lenny but had lost contact with him years ago. Was just thinking of him and decided to google him. Sorry to see that he has passed. His mom was my aunt Zella and she was a great person. Always liked Lenny and remember him fondly. My best to his family.
