Linda Sue “Suzy” Edwards

Linda Sue "Suzy" Edwards

 -

And on this day March 22, 2022, the Angels rejoiced as another of God’s children is now home.

Linda Sue “Suzy” Edwards, beloved wife of Brook Edwards, amazing sister to Glenda Hodge, Pam Harner (Randy), Wanda Eaton, Bill Booth Jr, Kathy Ellerbee, and Cheryl Gillis; loving mother to Katie Seacrest, Tracie Maciotok, Andy Maciotok (Christine); grandmother to nine, great-grandmother to two and aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

Suzy was preceded in death by her grandparents, John & Mary Morris, Clara Booth, her parents, Bill & Violet Booth, son-in-law Larry Seacrest, nieces Becky Harner-Lewis and Violet Loraine “Lori” Walters, as well as nephew Danny Ellerbee.

Suzy was born on this earth April 25, 1951, and passed 1 month and 3 days shy of her 71st birthday on March 22. Suzy had a zest for life and all things Native American, proud of the Indian heritage she was born into.

She was the owner of Recycle Guy Dumpsters in Tipton which she ran alongside her husband Brook.  Suzy attended Psychic Scientist Spiritualist Church in Indianapolis.  She was a Master Gardener and enjoyed gardening, raising many beautiful flowers, as well as do-it-yourself projects and jigsaw puzzles.

She would be proud to know she was bathed in the Indian tradition of lavender oil water from long ago ancestors after she passed away. “Suzy will be missed by not only numerous family members, but by all who ever knew her. We now rejoice in the knowledge that this is not goodbye, but see you at the family reunion in heaven one day.”

In following Suzy’s wishes she will be cremated and no services are planned.  Young-Nichols Funeral Home, Tipton, is honored to be assisting Suzy’s family in their time of need.

Memorial contributions in honor of Suzy may be made to Psychic Science Spiritualist Church, 1415 Central Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46202 or the Gary Sinise Foundation supporting veterans at P.O. Box 40726, Nashville, Tennessee, 37204.
