Sunrise: February 3, 1938 – Sunset: December 1, 2020

Turn your eyes upon Jesus. Look full in his wonderful face.

In the light of his glory and grace.

    Condolences on the passing of the Great Center of an extraordinary family.
    “Mother”—
    A word that holds the tender spell
    Of all the dear essential things of earth:
    A home, clean sunlit rooms.
    And the good smell of bread;
    A table spread;
    A glowing hearth.
    And love
    Beyond the dream of anyone…
    I search for words for her…
    And there are none.

  7. Our prayers are with all of you. Pat was a wonderful woman of kindness and inspiration.
    Love and blessings to all,
    Pastor Charles and Valorie Cole

  8. I have known the McCormack family, most of my life. Pat’s son Chris and I, used to work together at Jim Dandy in Tipton, back in the mid 1980’s. I don’t know if he’ll remember that or not. Pat and Gene both were very kind and loving people, who would help anyone if they seen that they were in need. My prayer is that Pat is now resting in the arms of our Lord, and is once again reunited with Gene. To all of you children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, you have had the honor and privilege of loving and caring for a strong woman of faith, devoted to her family, her church and her community. May you all be richly blessed by that.

    God bless you all

    Aunt Pat and Uncle Gene once took care of us for a weekend, maybe it was longer, I don’t remember. Aunt Pat took us out to rent a VCR and movies along with a trip to get all the good things we loved to eat. I have such fond memories of that time. My condolences to all of you. My love and prayers to you dear cousins.

    So sorry to hear of Patty’s passing. I have such fond memories of her when she was my baby sitter. I must still be the only person who still calls her Patty ( she told me I was allowed). When her and Gene were married he was just an extension of her…such a wonderful and loving couple. Gene and Patty would sit on the porch and he would play the accordion. We all would laugh and try to sing drinking lemonade and eating cookies Patty had made. Will be keeping all f you in our thoughts and prayers. Much love from North Carolina.

  15. I am saddened to hear of Pat’s passing. My parents, Al and Maria Gonzalez and my siblings were friends with Gene and Pat and their children. Pat would IM me thru FB and tell me that she had go to nursing home and checked in on

    My condolences to the family ..🙏🏼

    Sean, Mary, Chris, Brian, and Kevin… I am brought back to our teenaged years when your Mama was there to help guide us all through various types of life situations. She was always kind and supportive to many of us who were outside your family circle. She could also have a strict disciplinary hand if she felt it was needed, because she wanted you and everyone around you to grow into wonderful adults. She imparted some wisdom, and sometimes, a pretty quick wit. I did not see her much in the past couple of decades, but I remember how lovely she was when we were younger. While my heart breaks for your loss and the loss of the rest of your family and her close friends, my heart also rejoices that she can be reunited with her husband in the home her Lord made for her.

  22. To the McCormack Family- “Weeping may endure for a night, but the morning brings a shout of joy.” Psalm 30:5
    What great shouting and rejoicing in Heaven for Pat’s arrival!! She was the kindest and most caring of neighbors in our neighborhood, and she will be greatly missed, especially her smile and the wave of her hand every time you saw her. A truly loving and kind soul.

    Your mom was the best, We are so sorry to hear of her passing. Here is a Irish poem that I hope will help

    Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free!
    I follow the plan God laid for me.
    I saw His face, I heard His call,
    I took His hand and left it all…
    I could not stay another day,
    To love, to laugh, to work or play;
    Tasks left undone must stay that way.
    And if my parting has left a void,
    Then fill it with remembered joy.
    A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss…
    Ah yes, these things I, too, shall miss.
    My life’s been full, I’ve savored much:
    Good times, good friends, a loved-one’s touch.
    Perhaps my time seemed all too brief –
    Don’t shorten yours with undue grief.
    Be not burdened with tears of sorrow,
    Enjoy the sunshine of the morrow.
