Crystel “Sister” (Glassburn) Myers, age 40, of Greenfield passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at her home. She was born in Indianapolis on October 26, 1983. She graduated from Martinsville High School with the class of 2002. Crystel received her associate degree from Ivy Tech Community College in 2010.

She was a homemaker for her family. From 2012 to 2016, she served as Coroner for Hancock County. Crystel was a member at Brandywine Community Church and often volunteered for the March of Dimes. She enjoyed traveling, hiking and kayaking in her free time. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Crystel is survived by her loving family including, mother, Dee Ann Woolsey of Spencer; father, Michael Sims of Martinsville; grandmother, Nancy Shinn Brawley, Spencer; significant other, Joshua “Mo” Humphrey of Greenfield; children, Armand, Alexx, Aberam, Oliver and Olivia Myers; father of her children, Justin Myers of New Palestine; bonus kids, Laney and Addison; siblings, Lisa (Andrew) Wilson of Indianapolis, Vanessa (Aaron Nichols) Woolsey of McCordsville, Tiffany Woolsey of Greenfield, Jessamyn (Tyler) Davis of Greenfield, Beatrice (Stephen) Lowder of Newburg, Kaylee Woolsey of Mooresville, Jaxson Woolsey of Greenfield; nieces and nephews, Alexa, Jaeda, Jaedyn and Jalyn “Gnomie” Jeffries, Colton Long, Ryder Woolsey, Haizley Moore and Remington “Spud” Davis. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Alleighana Destini Starr Myers.

A funeral for Crystel will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 20 at Liming Family Funeral Home, 306 Main Street, Shirley, Indiana, 47384 with visitation starting at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery on Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crystel’s children for their future education. Envelopes will be available at Liming Family Funeral Home.
