Kenneth David Lacy
Kenneth David Lacy, 56 of Goldsmith was born September 14, 1967 in Marion, Indiana to Frieda (Leamon) and David W. Lacy. He passed away February 18, 2024 in Newark, Ohio. Kenny was preceded in death by his mother and is survived by his father; one daughter, Tasha Brown of Tennessee and one son Jordan Lacy of Elwood.
He has two sisters, Ann Hazelwood and husband Mike of Cicero, Ivanelle Teter and husband Martin of Goldsmith; one brother, Delbert Lacy and wife Denise of Tipton. Kenny is also survived by seven grandchildren, Josalynn Stanley, Rory Stanley II, Adylee Stanley, Tessa Lacy, Hayden Lacy, Wiley Lacy and Benjamin Lacy.
Kenny graduated from Tipton High School in 1986 and then joined the United States Air Force. He was an industrial equipment operator retiring from that work in 2021.
Kenny was a follower of Jesus and attended Rock Prairie Church in Tipton. He was an avid Colts fan and supported his team through thick and thin.
Funeral services for Kenny will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 23 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Markins presiding and burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service. Condolences for Kenny’s family may be left on his obituary page at www.young-nichols.com.
