Dannie was my first boyfriend when we were 15 and 16. My father would not let me date so Dannie and I would take my 3 siblings to the drive-in theatre with popcorn from home and enjoy a movie. I spent many days with his mom & dad and his brothers. Enjoyable memories. He and I went to the prom when we were 16. I still have a picture of us that my father took.
I enjoyed reading about his life-he was a good man that I’m sure you all will miss dearly.
My sincere condolences to all of the family.
