Dwight, was one of the Godly’s people I have ever known! He was and is still a shining example of what all Christians strive for and we hope people see the same in ourselves?
It has been my honor to have known and worked and served with him at Normanda Christian Church!

God bless his family in this time!

  2. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Dwight and his family for over 30 years. You are all amazing people and a tight knit family. It’s been a little while since I had spoken to Dwight but our conversation was about our families and farming. I hope that in the days to come , even though there will be tears, that there are countless memories reflected upon of a fine man who loved his family more than anything. The world would be a better place with more men like Dwight.

My condolences to the family, I remember this kind man from when i worked at Pioneer in Tipton, and Dwight hauled in sotbeans or wheat. Hugs and prayers for all.

The Salt of Earth, Big MO. I have called him that for as long as I can remember. He was my right hand man at Baumgartner Grain and Feed for 4 years. He got drafted , so we had a going away party for him. The next day he went to the induction center in Indianapolis. The following day he was back ready to go back to work. The Army rejected him. Can’t remember exactly why. Our gain the Army’s loss. We spent many a nights at the Pacers games when in the ABA. Always stopping to eat after the games then back to work the next day. We fed feeder pigs out at the Campbell farm. Two or three different times. Cleared Snow out on the roads to get to work, and to help folks from being snowed in. Many many great memories with Big MO. Sure going to miss him. Hope to c him another time in the future.

I worked at Citizens bank with Dwight and he was always very business oriented and fun to be around.
Thoughts and prayers for all his family.

    1. I know for a fact that he loved every minute of it. I felt like I was hanging out with a celebrity when I would go in the courthouse with Dwight!

To Connie and the family. We miss the times we all sat and just chatted about everything going on in life. We’ve always admired and loved Dewight. He was salt of the earth. In the short few years that we lived there, we have a lifetime of memories. From those old duct taped shoes he wore while mowing, to praying he and Rex got the crops in on time, may GOD bless you all. Dewight was an awesome person, friend and neighbor. We will miss him dearly. Again, GOD bless you all. Curtis, Kathleen, the horses and yes the chickens!
