Steve impacted many people’s lives and was deeply loved. Over the past 30 years he was a consistent, loving presence in my life and the lives of his non-biological grandchildren. Steve showed up to family events larger than life hosting an annual Father’s Day cookout, birthdays, Christmas, Thanksgiving the list goes on. His generosity was boundless and his delight palpable. From weddings to karaoke and camping with the grandkids Steve was eager to share experiences with his loved ones. We were blessed to be part of his life. He is dearly missed.

Wishing you all peace and fond memories.

I can still remember when Melvin and Jean were going together in High School. I attended First Baptist Church and I was just a child but for some reason thought Melvin and Jean were a cool couple.
