Thoughts are with you all. I remember your mom and dad from many years attending West Street. They were both always so vibrant, happy, and beautiful. On Christmas Eve this last your, we visited Millers and I saw your mother. She remembered me (I was with Mom and Dad) and it had been so many years since I had seen her. I am John and Sherry’s son. She was a very thoughtful woman.
Mary Lou was such a sweet lady. I will hold your family up in prayers and keep you in my thoughts.
I’m sure Bob was there to greet her in heaven.
One of my family’s close friends. Mary Lou’s great gift of love and happiness was admired by all. You will be missed .
Your mother was such a nice person. Lori, I remember so many games where our parents would sit cheering us on. Your mom was great. I remember our parents came together to watch you play basketball for Indiana Central against me playing for Hanover. You won. All of our parents were so supportive of us. It is hard to think that they are all gone now. I am sure you have wonderful memories. Take care.
Marylou’s love for life was always so contagious until these last few years when she and Bob became ill. She so wanted not to be a burden and to be with her love once again!! She is now at peace with Bob.
May all of the family remember the good times!! Prayers are with you all!.
Seventh grade year for THS Class of 1959 was exciting! We had a NEW teacher …Mr. Taylor. Your mother was a hit with us as well. They fit into our community so well. After graduation from IU, I taught at Tipton High School alongside your dad. I still smile about the day he told me I could call them Bob and Mary Lou. Quite simply they were a wonderful twosome. Tipton was lucky to have them for so many years. Hugs to all of you.
